Tea at the Mosheim Mansion
Posted on March 24, 2010
Last week, I took a trip out to Seguin to visit my friend, Ruth, of Ruth Stone Catering, serving her Irish Tea at the Mosheim Mansion. The menu was delicious – she served some wonderful currant scones, and the desserts were amazing!!! Here are a couple of images from the event.
Jennifer & Matt’s wedding

A beautiful wedding with a spectacular sunset… Jennifer and Matt were supposed to get married in the Bahamas on October 3rd, but due to her mother’s death, the wedding was postponed. Their friends and family rose to the task to help with creating a wedding at home in Austin, TX. To view their wedding images, go to:

William was “helping” me test my lights the other day in the studio. He is never lacking in personality!

Micah + Kris
Posted on June 7, 2009
I recently photographed Micah and Kris’ wedding at the House Plantation just outside of Houston, TX. Dennis couldn’t make it to second shoot with me, so my great friend and fellow photographer, Christine Tremoulet, of Christine Tremoulet Photography, came over to do the job. Micah’s theme was sapphire blue and it was definitely showcased with all the wonderful details she had at the wedding – blue wine glasses and vases, and even blue stemmed martini glasses as gifts for the guests. Sonya Prevost of Sonya’s Wedding Consulting coordinated the event and did a wonderful job attending to all the details that Micah and Kris wanted. Here are some of the images from the day and here is the slideshow.

Micah's dress lit in the window

Kris and the guys watching the guests arrive

Micah getting the last minute check in the mirror

Micah's cake was amazing! I've never seen a cake look so much like the bride's dress

Kris' cake was a replica of his guitar case. The green sticker is his band's.

Micaj got an entourage to lead her down the stairs. The rain stopped for just a minute while she entered.

The pavilion was gorgeous even in the rain.

I just love this shot Christine got of the kiss with Kris' sister looking on.

the balcony was a perfect backdrop with the wedding party looking on.

I just love the spotlight we use during the first dance. It just makes the images look magical.

a great moment during the toast

the fireworks are spectacular at the plantation for the leave shots

after the leave shots, Kris and his band played a set

portrait albums
Posted on June 1, 2009
I just finished a couple of fantastic portrait albums. The first one is a newborn album, 5×5 size, in an off-white ostrich style material.

The baby portrait albums come with 10 images and have several cover options. We just added the option to purchase a set of 3 to feature your child in all stages of the 1st year and will have a matching slipcase. So cute!!
The following album is an awesome senior portrait album in a faux snakeskin. I just love the way it feels!!!

These albums are such a great option in place of folios for seniors. They are also a great way for you to get extra images from your session. I love the way they come from the album company in these cool corrugated packages.
